Beavertail Trailers have been manufacturing quality trailers for more than 20 years.

 

We have supplied to Councils, Water Boards, Public Companies through to earthmoving and equipment operators. Proof of our quality is the high number of repeat orders we receive. 40% of our business is repeat work.

 

We supply and deliver trailers Nationally; where ever you are we can deliver.

 

In September 2009, Beavertail Trailers was purchased by Andrew Somerton and Phil Eddey, passing the reigns from one family company to another. In December 2010 the Beavertail business will acquire the business of Melton Machinery Floats a well respected and long established builder of machinery trailers under the ownership and management of John Mackay. This will enable us to take the best qualities and design from our businesses to develop and build you the best possible trailer in the market place today.

 

Phil has 35 years experience with trucks and logistics , he manages the overall manufacturing operations and sales support while Andrew has 30 years in the finance and banking industry and provides the adminstrative and financial management. Gary the original founder of the Beavertail business has retired and John Mackay has been appointed the National sales manager.   

 

The company employs 7 full time staff and two casual staff plus management.
